This platform has been created to provide an overview of my research activities as well as those of my research group. Our research group is currently focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in nanodrug delivery to design the best nanodrug, particularly for the treatment of various diseases, with special emphasis on different types of cancer. In addition, we actively explore the application of AI in several interdisciplinary areas across materials science, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering.

Our major research areas include: Application of Artificial Intelligence in drug delivery to design the best nanodrug, and in materials science, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering.; theranostics, Nanomedical devices and biosensors (biological, chemical, and optical), Polymer biomaterials and their biomedical applications, Plant nanotechnology, Organ-on-a-Chip technologies, Nanofibers and advanced nanomaterials development, Graphene and diamond-based materials, Biomaterials design and development, Surface modification of materials, Bio-optics for biomedical imaging, Quantum dots (QDs) for bioimaging and solar cell applications, RF and DC plasma polymerization, Thin film technologies.

Through our research, we strive to develop innovative technologies and scientific solutions that can make meaningful contributions to science, medicine, and society. Our group is committed to delivering impactful research that may benefit society in the near future.

Before our esteemed Ambassador, H. E. Mr. Sibi George, bid farewell to Japan, I had the pleasure of meeting him once again in his office at our Embassy in Tokyo and showed him my Japan Govt.’s 2025 Foreign Ministers' Commendation Award received from Hon'ble Foreign Minister of Japan Mr. Takeshi Iwaya for working to strengthen India-Japan Collaboration in the field of Science, Technology and Education for more than about 2 decades.



I am really happy to share that I have received the prestigious Japan Foreign Minister's Commendation from the Government of Japan for the year 2025. This recognition reflects my contributions over more than past two decades in fostering closer ties between India and Japan in the fields of Science, Technology, and Education.
I had the honor of receiving the award from the Honorable Foreign Minister of Japan, H.E. Mr. Takeshi Iwaya, during a ceremony held in Tokyo on September 5th, 2025.
